Horse Handling & Training Lessons
The Horse's relationship with the rider begins from the minute they walk into the barn or the pasture. Horses observe our body language and respond to cues that we are often unaware of. These cues can affect our riding and our handling with horses in general. By learning to read and understand horse and human body language we can learn to work more safely and effectively with our horse.
Bear Paw Barn offers Ground Lessons for the complete beginner or the horse owner who needs more confidence in leading, or longing. As horse owner, your horse may be giving you subtle cues that you haven't recognized that may be affecting your performance together. Learn to long line and ground drive for better fitness and a more supple horse.
